By using this online store, customers have confirmed that they fully accept these terms. Please ensure that you have read and understood them before using www.bettersport.gr
1. GENERAL INFORMATION
All information concerning products and services is valid and truthful, any technical or typographical errors notwithstanding.
A. Shipping within Greece
Delivery time is typically 1-3 business days for shipping within Greece, but this may be subject to change due to bad weather conditions and/or delivery in remote areas. In all cases, the customer is informed as soon as possible and receives an e-mail that includes the tracking number.
Shipping by courier company: Our company is partnered with ELTA Porta Porta Courier and Geniki Taxydromiki. The selection of the courier company is made automatically by our system, based on the postal code of your area. If you wish, you can state your preferred courier company in the comments of your order.
Shipping to a Skroutz Point: Our company has partnered with Skroutz Last Mile, giving you the option to pick up your order at the Skroutz Locker of your choice. Shipping to a Skroutz Point is not available for parcels larger than 25kg and/or 59x50x44cm.
In all cases, the customer is informed as soon as possible and receives an e-mail that includes the tracking number.
B. Shipping outside Greece
For EU countries, orders are shipped via DHL or ELTA Hellenic Post. Orders to Bulgaria or Romania are shipped via DPD.
Standard delivery time for EU countries is 4-12 business days.
Once the products are received by the transport companies, they are the only ones responsible for their timely delivery in excellent condition to the customer.
In all cases, the customer receives an e-mail that includes the tracking number.
We do everything possible to ensure that the availability of the products appearing on the website bettersport.gr, meet the real reserve that exists in our stock. Nevertheless, if there is a problem with the availability of products ordered by customers, they will be informed as soon as possible.
C. Shipping of heavy and bulky products
Within Attica: All heavy and bulky products (e.g. gym equipment) are eligible only for curbside delivery.
If the customer so wishes, we can offer assembly for the products they have purchased, by specialised technicians in their space. Estimated cost of assembly for an electric treadmill: 25,00 € - 50,00 €
Estimated cost of assembly for a piece of multifunctional fitness equipment: 40,00 € - 80,00 €
Outside Attica: We are able to ship to all the major rural towns. The customer has to pick up the product from the site/office of the transport company. In cases involving delivery to hard-to-reach areas, where transshipment is needed, there will be some minor surcharges after communicating with the responsible transport company.
2. USER SAFETY
All the information we require during your transactions is totally safe. They are processed only by authorised personnel, in order to ensure we are able to contaft each other.
- Creating a user account.
You create your personal user account by providing the required information in the designated fields on the "Create Account" page. By setting your user name (e-mail address) and password (secret passcode) you can manage your profile and get information on your orders. You are are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. The bettersport.gr web store is not responsible for any use of your secret passcode by an unauthorized person.
- Paying by credit card via Eurobank
All transactions with credit /debit cards take place in the safe environment of Eurobank. This means that no piece of your credit card information is stored on the server of the website bettersport.gr. Eurobank uses the SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) communication protocol with encryption up to 256bit, which ensures the safety of online transactions .
3. PAYMENT METHODS
A. Payment methods for orders within Greece
- Payment by Credit Card:
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Visa Electron. For purchases over 99 € it is possible to pay the order in 3 to 6 interest free installments.
The number of installments is scaled as follows:
Purchases worth 99€ - 200€ › 3 interest-free installments
Purchases worth 201€ - 350€ › 3 to 4 interest-free installments
Purchases worth 351€ or more › 3 to 6 interest-free installments
- Payment via PayPal

- Paying Cash on delivery
Customers that want to pay cash on delivery are charged 2,00 €, irrespective of the total value of their order. You can pay cash to the courier that will deliver your order. All orders delivered within Greece are eligible for this payment method.

4. Difference between "List price" and "Our price"
You may find that some products have a price on our website lower than the one available in our physical stores. This is due to the pricing policy of our company, which wants to offer lower prices on selected products on our website all year long.
The difference between website and physical store prices is clearly visible on each product page (above the size selection drop-down menu).
Furthermore, there are lots of products on our website marked "sale", that are available for the same discounted price both on the website and the physical stores.
5. ORDERS - DELIVERY - SHIPPING COSTS
As soon as your order is finalised, you receive an e-mail that includes the order number and your order information.
A. For orders within Greece
All orders that are to be paid for with cash on delivery must be verified before we ship them. This is why we send customers a SMS message via which they can verify their phone number. If your phone number is verified by SMS, then our customer service department will call you for a verification of the information provided in your order.
The faster we verify your order information, the faster we are going to ship your order. We cannot ship non verified orders.
Orders paid for by credit/debit card, bank transfer or PayPal will be shipped without need of verification.
Shipping is free for orders over 60,00 € and up to 7 kg.
Shipping costs 3,00 € for orders below 60,00 €.
For shipments over 7 kg, the shipping costs are as follows:
For shipments within Attica, the following applies:
-from 7 kg to 9,99 kg the shipping costs are € 5,00
- from 10 kg to 19,99 kg the shipping costs are € 10,00
- from 20 kg to 49,99 kg the shipping costs are € 15,00
- from 50 kg to 69,99 kg the shipping costs are € 20,00
- from 70 kg to 99.99 kg the shipping costs are € 25,00
- from 100 kg and over the shipping costs are € 30,00
For shipments outside Attica, the following applies:
- from 7 kg to 9,99 kg the shipping costs are € 5,00
- from 10 kg to 19,99 kg the shipping costs are € 10,00
- from 20 kg to 49,99 kg the shipping costs are € 20,00
- from 50 kg to 69,99 kg the shipping costs are € 35,00
- from 70 kg to 99,99 kg the shipping costs are € 50,00
- from 100 kg and over the shipping costs are € 60,00
The above prices include VAT.
Deliveries are made from Monday to Friday 9.00 - 17.00. However, there is the possibility of delivery on Saturday, but with an extra charge of € 3,00.
Delivery time is 1-3 bussiness days. This does not apply if you have ordered heavy and bulky products, e.g. gym equipment.
Pick Up In-Store
At checkout, you can choose to pick up your order in one of our 4 physical stores, within 1-3 working days.
If your order has been placed online, you will be notifed by email once your order is ready for pick up.
If your order has been placed via phone, you will be informed by the competent store on the contact number you have indicated once your order is ready for pick up.
If have not paid for your order, it will remain in the store for 2 working days.
* Payment in-store is not available for orders that include bulky products. These orders have to be paid for, before they are sent to our store of your choosing.
B. For orders outside Greece
For EU countries, orders are shipped via DHL or ELTA Hellenic Post.

Once the products are received by the transport companies, they are the only ones responsible for their timely delivery in excellent condition to the customer.
Please provide a phone number, preferrably a mobile one, so that courier companies can contact you if need be.
In all cases, the customer receives an e-mail that includes the tracking number.
6. INABILITY TO FULFIL ORDER
Our goal is to successfully fulfil all orders, as soon as possible. However, we may not be able to fulfil your order in some rare instances. Some of the reasons may be the incorrect updating of product availability, the simultaneous sale of a product in any of our physical stores and finally the failure to contact the customer.
7. PRODUCT EXCHANGES
You have the right to return a product you have purchased from our store and ask for an exchange. You can do so within 15 calendar days.
We consider as "shipping date" the date shown on the proof of pick-up documents from the courier company. All items must be returned in perfect condition, in their original packaging, along with the necessary documents (e.g. proof of purchase), as well as any included product tags.

1. You inform our company that you want to exchange a product. You can do that by calling us on 211 7250 500 or sending us an e-mail to info@bettersport.gr.
2. We authorise the return.
You ship the item(s) to us via ELTA Porta Porta Courier by calling them on 11120 (for regions this courier does not serve, you can call Geniki Taxydromiki), free of charge. We pay for return shipping. Return address: 70 Lefkossias Str., Peristeri, 12133, Athens, tel: 211 7250 500.
All items must be received by us in perfect condition, in their original packaging, along with the necessary documents (e.g. proof of purchase), as well as any included product tags.
We are not going to accept returns of products with damaged or torn packaging. We are also not going to accept returns of shoe boxes that have been closed with tape or written on. Finally, under no circumstances are we going to accept the return of products that have been used.
In the above cases, the product will be returned back to the customer with a charge of his own 6,00 € (the amount of 6,00 € includes the shipment from the customer to the bettersport company and the return from the bettersport company to the customer).
4. We ship the exchange item(s) to you with a charge of 5,00 € if you pay cash on delivery (3,00 € for the shipping costs + 2,00 € for cash on delivery) or you can pay 3,00 € with a bank transfer. If you want to exchange the item(s) again, you will be charged for all of the shipping costs). This means that we will ship exchange item(s) to you for a second time and you will be charged if you pay cash on delivery € 8.00 (€ 3.00 return costs + € 3.00 shipping costs + € 2.00 cash on delivery cost) unless you wish to pay € 6.00 via bank transfer ( € 3.00 return costs + € 3.00 shipping costs).
* For hygiene reasons underwear returns are not allowed.
Product exchange process for orders shipped outside Greece

8. RETURN PROCESS DUE TO WITHDRAWAL OF THE CUSTOMER (REFUND)
A. Refund process WITHIN Greece
In the event of a refund, the refund is performed using the same means as the payment.
If you paid cash on delivery or by bank transfer, then you have to provide the information of your bank account (IBAN, name of the beneficial owner and bank name) by e-mail to info@bettersport.gr, so we can deposit the amount refunded there.
The aforementioned amount is calculated by deducting 3,00 € for the return shipping costs from the net price of the product , if your order had a total value of less than c.
In case the total value of your order was over 60,00 €, then 6,00 € are deducted (3,00 € for the shipping costs + 3,00 € for the return shipping costs).
If you paid by credit/debit card, then we make the refund to your card. Conversely, if you paid via PayPal, then your money will be refunded via PayPal.
In case the customer wishes to cancel their order, while it has already been shipped from our premises and is on its way to be delivered, then they are refunded only the price of the product excluding any shipping costs they may already have been charged for.
Refunds are performed only if the following are observed:
- The client has contacted our customer service department by phone on 211 7250 500 or through e-mail to info@bettersport.gr
- We receive the product in perfect condition, just as we shipped it, including everything included in the package (proof of purchase, product tags, special product packaging etc.).
- Products whose original packaging is damaged, written on or wrapped in adhesive tape will not be accepted and will be returned to customer, with the shipping costs paid by them.
* For hygiene reasons underwear returns are not allowed.
In the aforementioned cases we retain the right not to accept the return.

9. DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS
Process for replacing defective products
In cases when it is proven that bettesport sold low quality products, such as products with defects or that were damaged during transport, then we take up the responsibility to replace them, covering return and replacement product shipping costs.
The process runs as follows:
- You send us a few representative photos of the defective product to the e-mail address customerservice@bettersport.gr
- We authorise the return after we evaluate your claim. The authorisation process takes 5-10 working days.
- After we receive the defective product, we replace with a new one of the same model or a different one if you want.
- A defective product is replaced one time only. Shoes washed in the washing machine will not be exchanged under any circumstances.
- In case product has sold out, we can refund you. After we receive the defective product, we provide a full refund.
